Description
  • AGE LIMIT:
  • For all posts (Except Sub-Registrar Grade – II, Probation Officer in Prison Department and Social Defence Department):
  • • Minimum Age Limit :18 Years
  • • Maximum Age Limit: 30 Years [“Others” [i.e Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs ]]
  • • No Maximum age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs and Destitute Widows of all categories.
  • Sub-Registrar Grade- II:
  • • Minimum Age Limit : 20 Years
  • • Maximum Age Limit: 30 Years [“Others” [i.e Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs ]]
  • • No Maximum age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs and Destitute Widows of all categories.
  • Probation Officer in Prison Department :
  • • Minimum Age Limit : 22 Years
  • • Maximum Age Limit: 30 Years [“Others” [i.e Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs ]]
  • • No Maximum age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs and Destitute Widows of all categories.
  • Probation Officer in Social Defence Department :
  • • Minimum Age Limit : 26 Years
  • • Maximum Age Limit: 40 Years [“Others” [i.e Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs ]]
  • • No Maximum age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs and Destitute Widows of all categories.
  • AGE CONCESSION:
  • (i) For Differently Abled Persons:
  • Differently Abled Persons are eligible for age concession upto 10 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed.
  • (ii) For Ex-servicemen:
  • (a) The maximum age limit for ex-servicemen is 48 years.
  • (b) The above mentioned age concession will not apply to the ex-servicemen applicants who have already been recruited to any class or service or category.
  • EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
  • • Any degree
  • • The applicants who possess the professional degree are eligible to this recruitment except for the posts of Industrial Co-Operative Officer in the Industries and Commerce Department, Assistant Section Officer in Law Department in Secretariat, Assistant Section Officer in Finance Department in Secretariat, Assistant Section Officer Cum- Programmer in Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and Revenue Assistant in the Revenue Department in various Revenue Units
  • • The educational qualification prescribed for this recruitment should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the order of studies viz.10th + HSC or its equivalent + U.G. degree / degree in Law. P.G degree as the case may be as required in Section 25 of Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. (Results of the prescribed Educational qualification and preferential qualification should have been declared on or before the date of Notification)
  • • Applicants claiming equivalence of qualification to the prescribed qualification should upload and submit evidence for equivalence of qualification in the form of G.O. issued prior to the date of this notification when called for, failing which, their application will be summarily rejected. The G.Os issued regarding equivalence of prescribed qualification after the date of this notification will not be accepted.
  • • Persons professing Hindu Religion alone are eligible to apply for the Audit Inspector in the Audit Wing of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Administration Department post.

  • • Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.
